Comments

Previously the settings on this blog required you to register to comment. I was worried about spam and didn't think registration was a big deal. However it appears requiring registration may be discouraging some people from commenting. Since a lack of comments is a bigger problem than spam at the moment I have changed the settings so that registration is no longer required to comment.

  1. That's nice. I didn't know you could do that.

  2. I agree with the above: it is nice. It's just that i feel too anonymous this way :) so I will revert to my cryptic openID login (which is truly painful to use).

  3. Hey, thanks. It's not that registration is so onerous, but that my favored pseudonym tends to go pretty quickly, so I can't register as LizardBreath, and I resist changing my name.

So I'll check in now and comment if you're wrong about something.

  4. As LizardBreath demostrates above you can also use a name (or pseudonym) without registering.
