I was looking at your webpage o...Dear Dr. Shearer,<br /><br />I was looking at your webpage on Paley Graphs: http://www.research.ibm.com/people/s/shearer/indpal.html and I was hoping to ask you about how you managed to do this calculation for such large graphs.<br /><br />I am interested in a similar quantity where the modulus is composite, that is the independence number of the graph on vertex set ${1,2,3,...,n}$ where we have an edge between $i$ and $j$ if $i-j$ is a quadratic residue modulo n.<br /><br />Is there a way that I can email you about this?
